1. Does the company really have the items they promote – either in-stock or available through special-order?

At Ray Event & Tent Rental we have dozens of tents in stock that can accommodate hundreds of people, tent accessories, hundreds of tables and thousands of chairs. Our in-stock linen inventory includes thousands of tablecloths, overlays, chair sashes, and napkins in dozens of colors, as well as many specialty linen selections. Our ongoing relationship with the top linen suppliers in the U.S. assure you that Ray can help you with anything you might want for your event. We are happy to show you around our warehouse so you can see first-hand what you’re getting!
2. Is the rental company a reputable company?
Check with your local Better Business Bureau and see if the company is listed, and if so determine the company’s track record. How long have they been in business? Honest, reliable companies will have good ratings. Good ratings are based on actual customer reviews and complaints, so the BBB is a good third-party source for knowing how a company conducts business. 3. How does the rental facility look? Are the rental items clean?
Make a personal visit to the rental company. Ask to see the items you’re planning on renting. Is everything clean? Are the facilities clean and well-maintained? At Ray Event & Tent Rental, we welcome your visit and tour of our 20,000 sq. ft. showroom and warehouse because we take great pride in the condition of our inventory. All of our linens are cleaned and pressed on-site, then stored in plastic bags. We clean and sanitize all our dishware, silverware and glassware and wrap them in plastic. We maintain all of our inventory in the best condition possible, as though we were hosting the event ourselves.
4. Who would the other vendors you’re working with recommend?
The event community in any town is small and well-connected, and others quickly know the reliable sources and which ones to avoid. We strive to work with those who share our commitment for quality and service. There's just no substitute for that, and we know you will be happy with the results!
